Is D-ID down?

Right now, D-ID appears to be degraded — some users may see errors or slowness. D-ID's official status page still reports all systems operational, but our independent checks are failing (Endpoint unreachable (connection failed or timed out)). This often happens in the first minutes of an incident, before the status page updates — treat as unconfirmed degradation.

AIDownCheck runs an independent reachability check from our own servers, separate from D-ID's official status page. If our check passes but you still can't connect, the problem is more likely local — try a different network, clear your cookies, disable VPN/extensions, or use a different browser. If our check is failing too, it's more likely D-ID's side.

Common causes are an upstream provider incident, API rate limits during peak demand, a regional CDN issue, or maintenance. D-ID is currently degraded. We show the official status, our independent check, and a confidence level so you can see which signals point to a real problem.
